And here's another good NFS2 video - ( http://www.motorauthority.c... ).
Read comments below.
Wow!, am really impressed with this video.
It's wayyy better compared to night *impression in GranTurismo 5 - with this same backdrop that has **no surrounding overhead street lamps that can compensate vehicles' headlights.
Got that realistic feel to it which I think they nailed.
What about all the current F1, Rallye, Drift and other professional drivers who use games as simulators and are gamers' themselves?
GranTurismo 5 will be an *on-going success and benchmark only to be topped by GranTurismo 6.
And as we all know in the coming months the lists' of exclusives on the PS3 are going to turn out as absolute superlatives!
Basically they're saying is Forza3 offers *better tracks to race plus more desirable *highly detailed cars than GT5..
..sort of agree with the tracks as GT5 has had most of those tracks featured since the original GT game came-out and just added a few new ones.
Sony/Polyphony and Kaz-san really do need to invest more time in building and offering **new race/street/rallye courses.
Hope they do since GT5 is an on-going update and maybe tracks should be up ...
Those massive jumps are absolutely exhilarating!!
What I'd like to see are manufacturers building frameless LCD/LED/Plasma monitors and screens.
If there are lights surrounding the streets which compensates for the terrible lighting on the cars, it works really well for GT5, but in total darkness just with the headlights on it's a different story.
And don't worry this is only an honest remark for *lighting and not the entire GT5 game which is brilliant of course.
That looks bad.. and seems like they used/copied ( Heavy Rain's ) control lay-out?
Yes this game does sort of scare you when you get into a very bad crash, makes you want to think about aspects in real life situations..
..if they can re-create the look of ( trailer's ) night racing, that would be a huge step for Shift because it looks awesome and realistic. - ( GT5 should take note and make improvements, the lighting only goes for about a few meters in front and after that its just total darkness ).
That Pagani Huayra ( *god of wind ) video l...
Thou shalt be an F1 driver.. and a good one at that.
Just goes to show how NaughtyDog are so aware and relevant by making a really good game ( Uncharted: Drake's Fortune ) into an epic benchmark ( Uncharted 2: Among Thieves ).
It's not really Japan that needs saving with this topic of gaming but other people from other countries who *impose their convoluted values like it's some sort of religion to be followed.
The game is just absolutely spectacular except for B-Spec which I think frankly is ridiculous, as article correctly pointed out - the pilot AI is frustratingly dumb.
I can't complain about the line-up of cars but this game really needs more different looking tracks, a lot of them have been re-hashed over and over again since the original GranTurismo.
I definitely agree with ASSASSYN 36o.. This does not and will never help cool your 360's.
Only the brainless gullible need apply.
This game clearly hasn't progressed, it just doesn't look interesting anymore and the cars have that sharp, blocky modelling.
Definite pass.
It almost seemed like this weird and wacky idea came off from Japan..
The player didn't really utilize the fun/and more difficult parts of this course to give this video some justice.
I'm very much interested about how good/or bad Steel Battalion is with Kinect..
You can also say this game is an "on-going process and progress", so the surprises will keep on coming.
Legendary.
